Our Classes

Our sequences are facilitated with intention, fusing postures together that will open, stretch and restore your body from the inside-out. Each class brings with it the assimilation of breath and movement, deepening the connection of mind and body - strengthening inner awareness. We ask that you come with an open mind, stripped of any and all expectations you carry of yourself, and take the time to focus on the exploration, transformation and movement of your body.

Classes for all experience levels

Heatwave

A static hatha yoga class comprised of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. A full body workout which stretches and strengthens every muscle. This room is heated to 38 degrees with the therapeutic infra red heaters. A great one for beginners as the class moves fairly slowly from pose to pose. We mimic the warmth of India and use infrared heaters in our classes. The infrared wavelength is a safe and effective way to draw heavy metals out of the body via the sweat. The heat also allows the body to open and the muscles and fascia to stretch. In enables a quicker recovery for muscles and a boost to circulation and cardiac output. The heat also adds an element of intensity which directs the mind to focus. It builds stamina, focus and concentration overtime with the help of an even, steady breath.

Beatwave

A great fun filled alternative to our Heatwave sequence. The same 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises as our Heatwave sequence. A full body workout which stretches and strengthens every muscle to the sound of loud beats and low lights. You will be softly guided through this sequence with the intention of letting go. This room is heated to 38 degrees with the therapeutic infra red heaters. A great one for beginners as the class moves slowly from pose to pose, taking it at your own pace.  

Core + Glute

A challenging but fun flowing yoga class which focuses on the abdominals and the gluteals. It helps keep us trim and toned in those key areas but more importantly provides strength in these muscles which bring support to the pelvis and spine. We build up strength in these key areas which lead to a more stable spine. This class is practised in a warm room at 32 degrees. 

POWER Yoga

A strong vinyasa flow class which is different every time. Take your practice further with arm balances and other fun challenges. The focus is on building upper body and core strength whilst getting a great stretch. The variation and the faster pace ensures that the mind and body are challenged. This class is practised in a warm room at 32 degrees. 

Vinyasa

A beautiful flowing yoga class where postures are linked by vinyasa (downward dogs and upward dogs). Breath and movement combine to bring amazing benefits internally and externally. Practised in a temperate room, based on living harmoniously with the rhythms of nature and seasonal changes, the class is different every time depending on the needs of the class and what the teacher wishes to focus on. The room may be heated during the cooler months and non-heated during our hot summer months.

Warrior + Flow

A strong vinyasa flow class which is different every week. Take your practice further working towards a peak pose in each class. The focus is on building full body strength, clearing thoughts and focussing the mind. The variation and faster pace ensure that the mind and body are challenged. This class is practiced in a warm room at 32 degrees.

surfer’s yoga

A fun flow class which focuses on stretching the lats, traps, deltoids, shoulders and back. It also works into the hips and builds balance, core and leg strength. Suitable for everyone, not only surfers. Practised in a temperate room, based on living harmoniously with the rhythms of nature and seasonal changes, the class is different every time depending on the needs of the class and what the teacher wishes to focus on. The room may be heated during the cooler months and non-heated during our hot summer months.

YIN YOGA

A non-heated deep stretching class to relieve pain and tension from the body. Lights are low and we use bolsters to get comfortable. A great class to slowly and safely restore flexibility and heal soft tissue injuries. Suitable for everyone, especially those who aren't flexible.  

Vin Yin

The perfect fusion session. The class starts with a vinyasa to get the body moving and the energy flowing and finishes with a deep stretching yin practice to improve flexibility and calm the nervous system. Practised in a temperate room, based on living harmoniously with the rhythms of nature and seasonal changes, the class is different every time depending on the needs of the class and what the teacher wishes to focus on. The room may be heated during the cooler months and non-heated during our hot summer months.

Pilates

A class focusing on breath, centring and control. Fluid Pilates movement is used to benefit both the body and the mind. Traditional Pilates and pre-Pilates exercises are used to build strength, encourage mobility, aid functional movement, incorporate mindfulness and increase body awareness. Modifications and advancements are offered, so that each person is able to move in the way that best suits their body.
